Unfortunately, due to the changes happening with the US tariffs, Tales & Tomes is no longer able to ship to the US. Previously, books were excluded from the de minimus. However, now they are included and subject to the 10% tariff rate OR a flat $80USD fee depending on shipping carrier.
These taxes are required to be collected by the seller (Tales & Tomes) prior to the items entering the US. Currently, Australia Post has no system in place to collect these.
There is also a long list of prohibited items, including right down to the free tea bags we include in our parcels.
It saddens us to close off shipping to our US customers at this time. We hope that things change in the future and we can reopen the market.
