Our very first advent box contains 5 x books (1 of each genre: dark romance, contemporary romance, fantasy, romantasy, and sci-fi romance), plus 7 days of bookish merch, totalling 24 mystery items all beautifully wrapped for you to open as you wish throughout the month of December. 

We've done our very best to pick books that might appeal to a wide readership but that you also might not have read before. 4 out of 5 books are by local Australian authors. 

Listed below in order of least to most spice/smut:

Fantasy - Robin hood medieval vibes, revenge, flawed main characters with a redemption arc, political intrigue, cliff-hanger ending.

Contemporary Romance - Rom-com, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, office romance.

Romantasy - Why choose romance, complex magical system, deadly competition, badass female main character, academy setting, enemies to lovers/bully romance.

Dark Romance - Dark and gritty urban setting, heroes and villains, possessive male main character, organised crime, mystery, morally grey characters, slow burn, anti-hero corrupts the "good girl".

TRIGGERS: explicit sex scenes, explicit language, strong violence, blood and gore, some action scenes, mentions of sexual assault, serial killers, sex trafficking, drug use, rough play, light sadism, light degradation, male lead with obsession, toxic behaviour, death of a parent/parental figure. There is nothing non-consensual in this book, nor "on-page"/impactful scenes of sexual assault.

Sci-Fi Romance - Erotica, mystery, why choose romance MMF, extra alien appendages, found family, insta-lust, love triangle, fated mates, breeding kink (no pregnancy).
